# Install Instructions for Text, Image, and Video Packages

  1. Install Docker

    $ sudo apt install docker
  2. Make sure Docker can address at least 2GB RAM

  3. Download & Decompress the Docker file:

    $ sudo apt install gnupg
    $ wget<version number>.tar.gpg
    $ gpg private_ai_<version number>.tar.gpg

Enter password when prompted.

  1. Load the docker image:

    $ docker load -i private_ai_<version number>.tar
  2. Run the image with the following command:

    $ docker run --rm -p 8080:8080 -it deid:<version number>


  • Temporary video files are written to the /tmp folder. Use tmpfs for maximum performance & security:

  • To change the port used by the container, please set the PORT environment variable on container startup. For example, to change the port to 5555:

    $ docker run --rm -e PORT=5555 -p 5555:5555 -it deid:<version number>
